TTControl has introduced TTC Vision, an innovative and powerful visualization unit. TTC Vision is the first unit for display control worldwide that supports both CAN and TTP® (Time-Triggered Protocol) bus solutions.
TTC Vision is designed specifically for use in vehicles and machines that run in harsh environments and at extreme operating temperatures of -40 °C to +70 °C. Its robust injection-molded aluminium housing protects against electromagnetic disturbance and mechanical stress by combining protection degree IP 65 or optionally IP6K9K, and GORE-TEX® membrane for pressurization.
TTC Vision can connect with both CAN and TTP networks. TTP is designed specifically for networks with demanding safety, reliability and availability requirements. TTC Vision is thus suited for use in complex networked safety-critical systems. Additional communication interfaces for RS-232, RS-485, and LIN are available.
TTC Vision provides both a Low Voltage Differential Signaling interface (LVDS) and a PAL/NTSC interface and is therefore adapted for the control of various display types. Customers can choose the most suitable display from a great variety of models, ranging from 5'' black/white to 10.4" color LCDs. The user can interact with the control unit in three ways: by keyboard, which is connected to TTC Vision via the LIN bus, by encoder, or by touch panel connected to TTC Vision via an RS-232 interface. In addition to the interfaces for display control, TTC Vision has a 1-Wire® interface, 26 digital inputs, and 24 digital outputs for controlling switches and lamps in cockpits.
TTC Vision provides a convenient and economical platform for rapid development of innovative graphical solutions. The package includes a variety of prefabricated elements such as bar charts or menu blocks that can easily be integrated with the application. Screen editing is particularly flexible and powerful. In addition, elements may be imported from standard tools such as Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe® Photoshop® or Corel DRAW®.
