TTControl, TTTech's subsidiary specializing in electronic control systems and visualization solutions for off-highway vehicles, has developed a robust and compact monitor with a built-in display controller perfectly suited for the extremely harsh conditions in off-road vehicles. Up to two software-controlled cameras can be attached to the monitor. Featuring low reflection and high color saturation, the display provides optimal readability under any lighting conditions.
TTControl's eVision, a compact 10.4'' monitor with an integrated display controller, offers a number of useful new features that will attract both vehicle manufacturers and end users. The ruggedized eVision monitor is protected by an extremely robust, IP 65 rated aluminum housing well suited for the demands of the off-highway industry. Two external composite video camera systems offer an almost 360-degree visibility to the driver.
eVision 10.4 is TTControl's first "intelligent" monitor designed to become a central operator interface in mobile equipment. It provides 32-bit computing power with dual CAN bus interfaces. The monitor may be panel mounted (i.e., in the dashboard) or - by means of a RAM® ball mount – placed elsewhere in the cabin.
eVision 10.4 displays engine and hydraulic control data, and can log data, operator behavior and errors. This information can be retrieved either through an attached memory device or a GSM modem using TTControl's Remote Assistance software.
An optional touchscreen, scroll buttons to navigate within the menu and seven programmable control keys provide an easy-to-use human-machine interface. Programming of graphic elements and the use of I/O resources are based on the CoDeSys® programming environment. This allows the end user to conveniently program the device and to make use of the comprehensive integrated graphic library. CoDeSys® also enables the use of CANopen®.
